The FA Trophy First Round Draw Has Been Made

By Tom Scott

The FA Trophy First Round draw has been made this lunchtime - and it's thrown out some intriguing ties.

National League sides were in the hat for the first time this season with plenty of all-National League ties to look forward too.

Holders AFC Fylde start their defence against National League North Curzon Ashton at Mill Farm.

Chesterfield entertain bitter rivals Notts County at the Proact Stadium while Bradford (Park Avenue) will face Gateshead's conquerors Halesowen Town.

Chester, who saw off 2018 winners Brackley Town, head to Southern League Central Premier side Hednesford.

Ties will be played the weekend of Saturday 14 December.

Winners of their tie set to pocket £4,500, while the losers receive £1,500.
