The FA Trophy Final 32 All Have Wembley In Their Eyeline

By Sam Elliott

The FA Trophy’s final 32 head into action in the coming days – and Wembley is starting to come into view.

The fourth round takes place this weekend and the famous Arch is on the horizon for many of our National League clubs.

But who will be going through? One side have already taken their place in Monday’s draw.

Havant & Waterlooville already know they are into round five after Altrincham were forced to forfeit.

The tie of the round sees National League giants Stockport County and Notts County meet at Edgeley Park.

League leaders Torquay United are on the double change – but their trip to Boreham Wood is one of the toughest draws the table toppers could have faced.

There’s an intriguing tie ahead in Lincolnshire. James Rowe's Chesterfield take a trip to visit Boston United's new stadium.

Darlington face a very long journey – they are at Weymouth. Will the 700-mile round trip be one to remember?

National League North leaders Gloucester City get to test themselves against National League opposition as Wealdstone await.

Sutton United and Dagenham & Redbridge know each other well and they face off again on Saturday.

There are some all-Step 2 ties as well – Kettering Town play Leamington, while Maidstone United and Dorking Wanderers put their National League South promotion fight to one side for Trophy glory.

A number of our clubs need to avoid upsets, too.

Stamford have Hereford in their sights, Bath City will have to be at their best against Peterborough Sports while Hornchurch hope to bridge the gap at home to King's Lynn Town.

Winning clubs set to earn £5,250 from the prize pot while sides exiting the competition will receive £1,500.
