The Draw For The Fourth Qualifying Round Is Made

By Sam Elliott

The draw for the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup has been made - and it’s thrown up some fantastic ties.

The National League clubs join the party, with a place in the First Round at stake.

The matches with take place on the weekend of Saturday October 24, a quick turn-around because of the more condensed 2020-21 campaign.

The sides are 90 minutes away from games with League One and League Two clubs - with matches with recent winners Wigan and Portsmouth on offer.

There are some big games coming - and a huge derby between Aldershot and Woking.

There are a number of other all-National League ties - as Solihull Moors and Wrexham meet, Yeovil play Dover Athletic, Sutton United host Bromley, King's Lynn Town meet Notts County and Stockport County take on Chesterfield - they play on back-to-back weekends.

Our sides will, of course, want to avoid becoming the story.

South Shields welcome FC Halifax Town, Hartlepool United are at Ilkeston Town, Barnet go to Leiston while Sholing are looking for Torquay United’s scalp.

Chorley will receive a bye into the first round.
