Released by TNT Sports, the cameras follow the man who purchased the club in 2015 after a devastating car accident which left him paralysed from the chest down in 2010.
The former Worthing youth team player spent nearly a year in a spinal treatment centre following the smash, where he had been the passenger in the front seat of the car.
Using the money awarded in compensation for the crash, he set about reversing the Rebels fortunes with the south coast club nearly £200,000 in debt having read in a newspaper that closure could be close.
Now an MBE, he tells the story in his own words.
The Club That George Built is described as a powerful reminder that setbacks can be flipped into opportunities and premieres at 10:30 on October 1.
The film brings to life the club’s climb, and their quest for promotion from the National League South last season. The emotional watch will also see George discuss how he came to terms with his disability, and tackling the life-altering challenges.
The Worthing fan and owner said: “There's still plenty that you can go and achieve after a massive setback if you're passionate about something. You can still be involved in it.
“It might be slightly different to how you dreamt originally, but if you love something, there's no reason you can't find a way to make it work for you.
“This film is a testament to that and I’m hopeful it will inspire other people to find positive action even in the most difficult circumstances.”
