Terrras Take Stock As Weymouth Appoint Their New Manager

The man to guide Weymouth on their National League return is Brian Stock.

The Terras have picked the AFC Bournemouth coach to take them forward next season.

The club’s new manager said he didn’t think twice about taking on the role.

“I had no hesitation in putting my CV in,” he said.

"The the club is in a fantastic position and it is a great opportunity for me.”

He hopes to be assisted by former Cherries team-mate James Hayter. Former AFC Totton manager Louis Langdown has already been added to the club's coaching staff

Stock, 38, was with Havant & Waterlooville until last year where he hung up his boots after a fantastic career.

Weymouth are gearing up for their return to the National League after 11 years away.

Their back-to-back promotions didn’t go unnoticed - and Southend United came calling for the Dorset club's manager.

Mark Molesley was appointed by the League Two club last month and now Weymouth’s hunt for a replacement is over.

They discover who they will be facing on the opening day on Tuesday when the fixtures for the new season are announced.
