Steelmen Go For Myles

Vanarama National League North club Corby Town have completed the....

....signing of right-back Ellis Myles from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division club Stamford AFC.

The former Leicester City trainee has made twenty appearances for the Daniels this season and arrives at Steel Park in the wake of Paul Malone’s move in the opposite direction.

Myles joined Stamford from Rugby Town in the summer of 2014 having previously been at Brackley Town.

Now Tommy Wright will be hoping the full-back can play a key role as the Steelmen bid for survival.

The Corby boss said: “I am delighted Ellis has chosen to sign for us despite having lots of options including teams in our division.

“He is a player we have monitored for some time and know a lot about from his time at Leicester and Rugby.”
