So Much At Stake Tonight Across All Three Divisions

By Sam Elliott

Tonight is the night when one hand can be firmly placed on the National League title - and one club could sink into the National League South.

But with the topsy-turvy nature of life at the top this season, who’s to say when we will finally know who are the champions?

Wrexham can take a stride towards their ambition if they beat Yeovil Town at the fortress Racecourse.

If they do to them what they have done to all-but one club this season, then they will just need to match Notts County’s result this weekend to finally return to the EFL.

But the Glovers aren’t going to north Wales for a day trip and know they need to win or they will be relegated.

It’s a massive night down the bottom and Torquay United’s incredible recovery will be tested when they go to third place hunters Chesterfield.

It’s four wins from four for the Gulls but they are still not out of the drop zone and they will need Aldershot not to beat Wealdstone if they want to move out.

Gateshead and Dorking - both in blistering late-season form - can make themselves safe with a win on Tyneside as Altrincham face Dagenham.

The play-off race is just as intense as the battle down the bottom.

Southend United are suddenly back in the mix after ten points from a possible 12 and they’ll really fancy it if they win at Oldham Athletic.

Bromley currently hold seventh spot after nudging out Eastleigh on Saturday but have their work cut out at FC Halifax Town later.

Barnet will confirm their top seven place if they defeat Solihull Moors, whose season is sure to end in just over two weeks’ time.

None of the National League North title contenders are in action.

But it’s a big evening in the play-off chase and Alfreton are determined to hang on to what they hold.

The Reds are at Banbury United while Darlington - sitting just outside the top seven - face Curzon Ashton and are ready to pounce.

There’s a mammoth game down the bottom where Blyth Spartans could leapfrog Farsley Celtic and out of the drop zone with a good victory in Yorkshire.

Concord Rangers will be all-but relegated from the National League South if they don’t beat Dover Athletic.

Hungerford Town will drop if they don’t collect all three points at Taunton Town.

Cheshunt know they really must beat Chelmsford City if they are to survive for a second season.

Worthing want to firm up their play-off place and they’ll be sitting pretty if they can kill off Farnborough’s promotion hopes.

Where next?

Wrexham One Win Away As Some Big Statements Are Made Wrexham require just one more win to secure their EFL return but Yeovil Town are going in the other direction and need to start planning for the National League South.
It’s Not Over Yet! More Title Twists On A Thrilling Day There was yet another title twist as Notts County put on a show in the second BT Sport game - after Wrexham dropped points in the first.
