Slough Town Spree! Rebels Move Early To Secure Five Signings

Scott Davies hopes it’s the early bird that catches the worm after making five early summer signings.

The Slough Town manager has wasted little time in revamping his squad, getting down to work with a raft of new arrivals already announced.

The Rebels’ great start petered out last season, and they ended the season in 16th - signing off the campaign with two encouraging victories.

Already, Davies has lured talented midfielders Jaiden Drakes-Thomas and Tyrique Clarke to the club.

Also arriving are striker Wiktor Makowski, defender Peter Ojemen and full-back Tarik Gidare.

He said: “As a collective they fit the profile of the players we’re looking for next season.

“We want to be powerful, athletic, dynamic, and these lads are also hungry to kick on with us but also with their careers.

“We’ll give them that platform to showcase their talents.”
