Signing Spree Is Sparked As New Season Gets Closer

The big kick-off is now just three weeks away and there’s been another signing spree over the past few days.

August 6 is getting closer and squads are taking shape but for some there’s still business to do to be ready for the opening day.

But it’s not just about those joining our clubs - there’s been a giant of a move to Kyle Hudlin.

Solihull Moors’ 6’9 centre-forward, pictured, is now a Huddersfield Town player after a strong end to last season which saw him score in the National League Promotion Final.

He tweeted: "Delighted to have signed for such a great club, really excited for what the future holds!” before he went out on loan for a season at AFC Wimbledon.

But another big man comes in - towering defender Fiacre Kelleher signs on a season-long loan with Moors from Bradford City.

Experienced goalkeeper Scott Loach has also got a big move. He leaves Chesterfield to sign for Derby County after also seeing Saidou Khan leave for Swindon Town.

Josh Umerah also steps up - he has left Wealdstone to join Hartlepool United for an undisclosed fee.

Torquay United have announced the double signing of defender Ollie Tomlinson and forward Corie Andrews.
