Saints Have Got To Stop Gifting Goals Away Says Allison

St Albans manager Ian Allinson said his side have to stop gifting their opponents goals if they're to be successful.

The Saints suffered their third consecutive defeat in the league as they slipped to a 4-1 defeat at Torquay.

And speaking to the club's YouTube after the game, Allinson said he wants his team to be a little less generous.

"In the end it was a beating and it could've been a lot more," he said. "We didn't get to grips with the game for the whole 90 minutes.

"We've given away two soft goals and that's something we've got to address as quickly as possible.

"We've dropped down a bit over the last couple of weeks but we've got to pick ourselves up. We need consistency but even if we don't win every game, we can't let the opposition win as easily as they have in the last two games.

"But we do have to accept we weren't good enough tonight and that they [Torquay] were better than us. We've got to pick ourselves up and get ready to go again on Saturday at Gloucester."
