Rzonca Becomes Latest to Commit to York

Callum Rzonca has become the latest player to commit his future to Vanarama National League club York City ahead of the 2016/17 season.

The 19-year-old put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal and in the process extends his stay with the Minstermen into a fourth season after joining the club’s Academy in 2013.

After impressing during his two-year scholarship with the under-18s, the winger was handed his first professional contract last summer before making his competitive debut in the EFL Cup in August against Premier League side Swansea City.

Rzonca later joined Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Stamford on loan in March, appearing nine times over the remainder of the campaign.
