Rocks Bring In Much-Travelled Keeper

East Thurrock United have become much-travelled goalkeeper Ashlee Jones` latest port of call.

The now 30-year-old was a member of the Southampton youth team that reached the FA Youth Cup final in 2005.

He went on to play for the sadly now defunct Rushden & Diamonds, Basingstoke Town, Harrow Borough, Potters Bar Town, Fisher Athletic, Crawley Town, Kingstonian, Wycombe Wanderers, Darlington, Billericay Town, Boreham Wood and Braintree Town.

He kept an amazing twenty-five clean sheets whilst with Canvey Island during the 2012/13 season and then switched to Lowestoft Town.

Has more recently been on the books at Leiston, Chesham United and Staines Town before re-joining Canvey Island earlier this season.
