Performances Encourage Challinor In Play-Off Run in

AFC Fylde boss Dave Challinor says his sides performance was once again deemed positive, as they go for a play-off place.

A late goal saw his side take a point and stay within a point of the play-off places at Eastleigh, writes Tom Feaheny.

The Coasters have had a fine start to 2018 and take on Gateshead next.

“We were on the front foot against Eastleigh and we have been in most matches in the last few months," Challinor told the club's website.

"We are playing well and doing more than enough to win games but not getting the right result."

Challinor believes his side would have a few more points on the board with some small changes.

“Once we get going and start to play, we look a very good team.

"We get the ball into some fantastic areas but we sometimes try to force it a little too much at times."
