Parkinson Calls In Reinforcements To Get Alty On Track

Altrincham manager Phil Parkinson has responded to his team’s lack of form and injury issues by signing two new players.

Alty have only won once since August 7 and their 2-0 home loss to Curzon Ashton means it’s just one point from a possible nine. View highlights here.

Unavailable players have also caused problems so the manager has taken action.

Forward Joe Thompson and full-back Ross Woodcock have won Parkinson over following recent trials.

The Alty boss wants an improvement after recent poor results.

“Yes there have been mitigating circumstances but we need to be better,” he said after defeat to Curzon.

Next up for the Robins this weekend is a difficult trip to Bradford (Park Avenue).

“We need to come up with a reaction,” added the former Nantwich Town manager ahead of their trip to Yorkshire.
