Parker Says Hard Work Not Over On And Off Pitch For Town

Harrogate Town defender Ben Parker says the side are already gearing up for the Vanarama National League.

A 3-0 win against Brackley Town just under a month ago ensured that Town gained promotion and capped off a fine season.

"I'm buzzing it is as simple as that, this is a great achievement but already you are thinking of next season," Parker said.

"From the first day of pre-season to now, we aren't a massive squad but we have the heart and desire you need to do well.

"That is what is key the start and that is what will happen again."

"We prepared for this moment, we have all worked so hard.

"There have been the celebrations and we know it all starts again.

"It is a fantastic club, behind the scenes it is all in place, we are going places and on the pitch I'm glad I could help us go up.

Parker who recently got married, said that it is important to celebrate the moment as well.

"We will enjoy the summer and the next days but we know the hard work starts again soon, we can't sit back for too long.
