Burns, who missed last season with a broken leg, has recently spent a month on loan with National League North side Lowestoft Town where he played four times.

That followed on from a successful temporary loan at Westwood Road in August, helping Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division side Cambridge City keep four clean sheets in eight appearances.
