New Midfielder For Minstermen

York City have announced that highly-regarded young midfielder Connor Smith has today joined on a one-year deal from National League newcomers Hartlepool United.
Smith, 20, is a graduate of the Pools' academy system, which he joined at the age of 16.
He went on to make around twenty first-team appearances at Victoria Park, also taking in loan spells with York`s new league rivals Spennymoor Town and Whitby Town of the Evo-Stik League Premier.
