What a season it has been in the National League North, and we’re far from done yet.
A title twist arrived on Good Friday - and the second set of Easter fixtures is going to set up a gripping final day next weekend.
Here’s how things stand. There was a change at the top as Scunthorpe United slipped to third after another away day bump in the road at King’s Lynn Town.
Now it’s out of their hands and firmly in the fingers of Kidderminster Harriers’.
If Phil Brown’s side beat Hereford at home tomorrow, a final day win at Southport will hand them the title - and an instant National League return.
But others aren’t there to see them off into the sunset, even if they do need favours.
Second place Brackley Town - who have won their last four - are level on points with Harriers with a far inferior goal difference but know keeping that run going is their only hope of overhauling Kidderminster.
On Monday they go to Leamington, before finishing the season at home to bottom side Farsley Celtic.
Scunthorpe are superb at home and it’s Peterborough Sports first before they end with a very tricky task at Hereford.
Chester mathematically can still win it but their hopes of something seriously unexpected will be ended if they don’t win at home to Marine - or if either of the top two take three points.
With relegation matters long settled, the fight for the play-offs is the next thing on everyone’s mind.
Buxton are in possession of seventh place, they make the short trip to Alfreton and will be well are Curzon Ashton - just outside the top seven - face rock bottom Farsley Celtic.
King’s Lynn, sitting in sixth, will take a giant step towards a promotion place if they follow up their win over Scunthorpe with another at Needham Market.
Chorley haven’t spent much time outside the top seven this season but that is where they find themselves with two games to go. The Magpies host Radcliffe while Spennymoor, who need to win their last two and hope, have a derby date with South Shields.
