The pens have been out and the ink is dry - it’s been another big week of transfers for National League clubs.

Squads are really starting to take shape ahead of the new campaign as managers do deals with their top targets... and it’s getting fans in the mood for football again.

The excitement is already building - but who has impressed the most?

It seemsDagenham could have a Mac attack to be feared.

After last Friday adding Paul McCallum, they this week won the race to sign National League South joint top scorer Darren McQueen.

He scored 18 for Dartford last season and his new boss Daryl McMahon is excited about his forward options.

Pete Wild continues to piece together his FC Halifax Town side.

Reuben Noble-Lazarus was first through the door this week and was quickly followed by midfielder Luke Summerfield.
