Moors & Wrexham To Learn Scottish Challenge Cup Fate

By Tom Scott

Solihull Moors and Wrexham will learn their fate in the Scottish Challenge Cup - with the draw taking place this lunchtime.

The National League pair are entering the competition at the Third Round stage and will be joined by sides from Northern Ireland and Wales.

They follow in the footsteps of Boreham Wood and Sutton United who broke new ground competing north of the border last season.

The draw will take place on the SPFL's YouTube channel - and you can watch it live from 12.30pm on Wednesday afternoon by clicking here.

"It's a great honour for The National League to be involved in the Scottish Challenge Cup once again," said National League director Sid Blain, who will be participating in the draw.

"Last season, both Sutton United and Boreham Wood performed very well, and didn't concede a goal in any of their matches.

"Solihull Moors and Wrexham will be strong candidates going into the competition this campaign," he added.
