Manager Lakeland To Depart King's Lynn Town

King’s Lynn Town have decided Adam Lakeland’s time as the club’s manager is over.

Lakeland, who left Curzon Ashton to take over in September 2023, will not be in charge next season, it has been announced.

Lynn finished the National League North season in sixth spot, securing a place in the play-offs.

But there was to be no return to Step 1 after an agonising late defeat to Chorley.

The club have decided a change of direction is required and confirmed the news in a statement last night.

It read. “After discussions with Bal Srai from TSI, King’s Lynn Town Football Club can confirm that first team manager Adam Lakeland has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect.

“We would like to thank Adam for his efforts and commitment during his time at The Walks and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

“An update regarding the club’s managerial position will be provided in due course.”
