Maamria Applauds Nuneaton's Unbeaten Run

Nuneaton Town boss Dino Maamria says his side are showing what they are capable of.

While there may have not been a game for the side today due to the weather, it has been a great 2018 so far for the side, writes Tom Feaheny.

They currently sit in 11th just five points off the play-off places, thanks to an unbeaten run that has lasted eight games so far.

“We have faced different sides and different styles and come through it to continue this run," Maamria told the club's website.

"We had long journeys Saturday and Tuesday with tough games on tough pitches with Stockport and Spennymoor."

Maamria believes the quality they have has shined through in recent weeks.

“We showed brilliant character in the second half last week against Chorley and that just shows how far we came, because I’m sure a few weeks ago we would have lost that game, then we did the same against AFC Telford United to win it."
