Kick-Off Change Comfirmed For Welling vs Wealdstone

Welling United’s match against Wealdstone on Saturday will now kick-off at 1pm.

The National League South fixture at Park View Road will start two hours earlier than normal.

This is become of floodlight issues at the ground, something the Wings are working hard to repair.

Steve King’s side are looking to return to top spot after losing the leadership on Tuesday night as they went down 2-0 at St Albans City.

The club released a brief statement to confirm matters this morning.

“The match against Wealdstone on Saturday (3rd November) will go ahead with an earlier kick off time of 1pm. This is after floodlight failure at PVR on Thursday evening saw Charlton U18 vs. Whitehawk become a late postponement,” it read.

Meanwhile the National League South match between Truro City and Dulwich Hamlet will now be played on Sunday November 11.

This is due to Torquay United’s home FA Cup tie with Woking 24 hours earlier.
