Jansen Says Magpies Up For Battle Against Fellow Play-Off Hopefuls

Chorley boss Matt Jansen says his side are where they need to be ahead of facing Stockport County.

The two teams have seen good runs of form propel them into a top seven place, writes Tom Feaheny.

Now both are aiming to stay there with just over a week of the season to go.

"It is another important game, they all are with this game meaning a lot," Jansen told the club's website.

"We have got games coming up but we took it one at a time."

“The last four weeks we have been fantasist, the team spirit and fight under pressure has been present from everyone.

“I’m excited, people wrote us off, we have kept going, we are in a strong position but must keep going."

Jansen says the way his side got the win last time out impressed him most.

“Blyth Spartans played well against us last time, we were comfortable, we managed the game well."
