It's One Striker In And One Out At Southport

It`s one striker in and one out at Southport.

The experienced Ross Hannah has been signed by Port boss Kevin Davies on loan from National League side Chester FC until the end of the season.

Thirty-one-year-old, Sheffield-born Hannah (pictured) is in his second spell with Chester.

Originally joining in 2015, he made forty-two appearances before transferring to Barrow AFC for the 2016/17 season.

Hannah started his career as a junior both at Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United.

During a stint in non-League football he won the `golden boot` for Matlock Town in the Evo-Stik League Premier.

He signed his first professional contract for Bradford City in 2011, where he made nineteen League appearances.

Kaiman Anderson has joined Evo-Stik League Premier side Stourbridge on a permanent basis.

Joining from Shrewsbury Town in the last close season, Anderson made a total of ten appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring in Port’s 2-2 draw with Gainsborough Trinity at the Merseyrail Community Stadium in October.

Anderson joined Stourbridge on loan in December after the Glassboys attempted to sign the former Halesowen Town man last summer.

A number of impressive performances secured further interest from Gary Hackett`s side to secure this permanent transfer.

Meanwhile, Port have confirmed that Adam Dugdale has left the club by mutual consent.

The former Crewe Alexandra defender returned to Southport last June.

Dugdale, 29, previously played for the Yellows in 2007 and went on to feature in Crewe's promotion campaign from League Two in 2011/12.

After spells with the likes of Morecambe and Tranmere Rovers, Dugdale made eighteen appearances for Eastleigh in the National League last season.
