It's A Signing Spree As More Big Moves Made This Week

By Sam Elliott

It’s only a few weeks since the action packed up but some clubs aren’t hanging around as they gear up for next season.

Plenty of managers have put their foot down to steal a march with some impressive deals done.

Hampton & RB are getting most of their business done early.

It’s been another very busy week in south west London with the additions of defender Alex Solomon, keeper Adam Desbois and striker Ben Seymour.

At the start of the week Jordan Cheadle, Mason Bloomfield and Rob Hall all joined.

Chesterfield liked the look of Alfreton’s attacking midfielder Bailey Hobson and made him their first new recruit of the close season.

Buxton have won the race for striker Jake Wright while central midfielder Alex Babos has a new home in Hereford.

Danny Newton has signed for Brackley, who have also handed a new deal to former stand in manager Gaz Dean. Alex Gudger also returns.

Worthing's impressive young goalkeeper Harrison Male has moved up to the National League with Dorking Wanderers.

Former former Southampton and Woking midfielder Tyreke Johnson is now a Chippenham player.

Versatile Paul Rooney joins Dartford following his departure from Havant & Waterloovile.

But Samir Carruthers has decided to leave and sign for Chelmsford City - and it’s been a busy few days.

Goalkeeper Jacob Marsden has committed to Essex club while experienced midfielder Anthony Wordsworth will also wear Claret this season. Charlie Ruff has also returned.

Lewis Hudson has kicked-off Rushall Olympic’s summer signings and Chester’s Darren Stephenson leaves for Farsley Celtic.

Chris Renshaw has called time at Curzon Ashton and will line up instead for Southport.

AFC Fylde defender Kyle Morrison joins Solihull Moors who have also made Havant’s Joe Newton their player, pictured.

FC Halifax striker Matty Warburton has also signed for Neal Ardley.

He isn’t the only forward the Moors have added with Chorley’s prolific Connor Hall signing on Saturday.

Meanwhile Woking have also made their first move of the summer - Dennon Lewis returns to the club.

Fylde have signed Theo Robinson and he said: “Bring on the new season!”
