It'll Be Different This Time Says Doswell As Sutton Take on Dover

By David Richardson

Paul Doswell is confident his Sutton United won't suffer a thrashing at home to National League leaders Dover Athletic like they did last season!

the U's were knocked off top spot on Saturday by tonight's opponents after drawing at Wrexham while the Whites won at home against Solihull Moors.

Both part-time teams have enjoyed excellent starts to the season and now they face off against each other.

And Sutton boss Doswell is confident there won't be a repeat of last season's scoreline!

"It's a tough one," he said. "Chris Kinnear has got his team at the top of the league, he's an underrated manager and a good club.

"They play a certain way that works for them. I'll tell you one thing it won't be 6-0 to them like it was last time! We've got a fully fit squad, raring to go.

"Chris and what they've done at Dover, you can't do anything but admire what they've done. Good for Dover, good for Sutton, Maidstone's another good club, competing against this full-time league and not looking out of our depth at all."
