Huge Wins Secured On Eventful National League Night

Late drama and big wins lit up an important night across the three National League divisions.

Josh Rees broke Bromley hearts as he scored in time added on to earn Dagenham a 2-2 draw at Hayes Lane.

Things weren’t much better for third place Barnet - Aldershot Town won at home again as Kwame Thomas left it late to snatch a dramatic winner.

Hartlepool United are suddenly eying the play-offs - Manny Dieseruvwe got two goals as the flatted Altrincham 2-0.

Gateshead win again to keep their challenge going at Kidderminster, while Joe Sbarra and Solihull Moors pegged AFC Fylde back for a 2-2 draw.

It was a big night down the bottom. Dom Poleon’s goal was big news for Ebbsfleet United who move out of the bottom four win a win over relegation worried Woking.

Southend United grabbed a much needed victory at Maidenhead - Danny Waldron with the winning goal.

It was the perfect start for new Eastleigh manager Kelvin Davies. His team left Oxford City with a fantastic 5-1 win. Paul McCallum’s two early goals got them going.

There was a rare off night for National League North leaders Tamworth - but Scunthorpe United couldn’t take advantage.

Elsewhere it was a winning night for Alfreton, Buxton, Boston United, Spennymoor Town and Peterborough Sports.

Yeovil Town put one hand on the National League South title after Morgan Williams’ goal deflated Weston-super-Mare late on.

They now boast a 13 point lead after second place Worthing fell apart at Welling United.

Chelmsford win again, Charlie Ruff shone once more as they eased to the points at Hemel Hempstead.

Hampton & RB are back on track after also scoring four to leave Weymouth worried after another home humbling.

Shaun Jeffers hit St Albans winner at doomed Dover as Torquay United put a point on the board at Farnborough.

Eastbourne kept hope alive by seeing off Havant & Waterlooville while there were viral wins for Slough, Bath City and Braintree Town.
