Holleran Pleased With Leamington's Mentality

Leamington have drawn their last two league games and gained victory in the FA Cup after beating Westfields 2-0.

Paul Holleran says he was pleased with how his side played after they progressed to the FA Cup third qualifying round and maintained their momentum from recent league games, writes Tom Feaheny.

Speaking to the Leamington Courier after the victory Holleran said.

“I am just happy that our supporters have been able to have a good FA Cup day out and we’re delighted to be in draw for the next round.

“We put in a very workmanlike and solid performance, and basically today we were all the things that we weren’t at Highgate last year.”

Holleran's side next take on Bradford Park Avenue in the Vanarama National League North on Saturday, knowing a win could take them as high as 17th in the table and would move them to four unbeaten in all competitions.
