Hodges: `We're Where We Want To Be At The Moment`

Truro City hit the road this weekend as the Cornishmen head to Hungerford Town tomorrow.

Having torn apart then-league leaders Dartford in their last game, the White Tigers make the journey in good heart as they look to strengthen their position amongst the top five.

Truro go into the game currently in third place in the table, just four points off the top and with a game in hand over the top two.

Manager Lee Hodges told his club`s official Pitchero website: “We’re where we want to be at the moment.

“We’ve set ourselves some high standards this season and proving hard to break down and beat, something that we need to maintain on a consistent basis.

“There’s a lot of positivity and belief amongst the group; they are taking on board what they’re being told and giving me everything.

“Our performance in the last game was fantastic; we were on the front-foot right from the off and caused what was a very good Dartford side all sorts of problems.

“Saturday’s game will be another tough one and we need to approach it in the right way and make sure that our attitude is spot-on.

“Hopefully we can put in performance that will see us bring home the points.”

Hungerford sit seventeenth in the table, having lost five of their nine league games on home soil so far this term.

They suffered an agonising 1-0 defeat at Wealdstone in their last game as they succumbed to a last-minute penalty.
