Hodges Pleased With Truro's Fight And Character

A 2-2 draw against Welling United was something that pleased Truro boss Lee Hodges due to the performance of his side.

Truro came from a goal down to lead 2-1 but with just under half an hour to go, both teams went for a winner but neither could find one, writes Tom Feaheny.

“It was a good point away from home, this is not an easy place to come to but I think that a draw was probably a fair result in the end," Hodges said to the club's website.

“After losing our previous two games, I was pleased with the fight and character displayed by the lads; they worked hard out there and gave it a real go.

“We scored two good goals and played some decent stuff."

Hodges is also pleased with where his side are placed with 21 games in the league campaign now gone.

“It’s such a tight League. We’re half-way through it now and we find ourselves in a fantastic position, just three points off the top."
