Flanagan Wants Good Habits To Start Again For Ashton

Curzon Ashton boss John Flanagan says his side need to go back to the way they played in recent weeks and avoid a repeat performance from last weekend.

After losing to Southport, this stopped what had been a good run for the side who are next up against Gainsborough Trinity subject to a pitch inspection at 10 am tomorrow, writes Tom Feaheny.

"It is all about us, if we play like we can, we know what we can do," Flanagan told the club's website.

"If we don't make the improvements we need to from the Southport loss then we give ourselves an unnecessary task."

Flanagan says that they know what needs to be built upon.

"We need to show that energy that we did a few weeks ago, chase the lose causes and get the form back to where it was.

"If we take the easy option on a pass then the other team seem to take advantage so that must change."
