If your pre-match pie didn't warm you up in the National League South, what followed probably did!

With the festive season just around the corner, the top four sides all reaffirmed their positions at the top of the tree.

Sticking with the festive theme, Tonbridge Angels finally got their wings to lift themselves out of the bottom three.

Tom Derry opened the scoring against a shell-shocked Braintree Town before D'Sean Theobolds, Tommie Hession-Harris and Rian Bray completed the rout.

No such luck for basement boys Hungerford Town who slipped to their sixth defeat in seven games at Dorking Wanderers.

Leaders Wealdstone got back to winning ways with a fine away win at Chelmsford - Danny Green with the winner.

Ryan Brunt snatched a late point with the final kick of the game for Bath City against Maidstone.

Speaking of late winners, Hemel Hempstead had Sam Ashford to thank for their win over Havant & Waterlooville.

The Tudors midfielder plundered two goals in the final seven minutes after they had fell behind to Danny Kedwell's goal.

Slough are up to third following their comprehensive win over Billericay Town and it was the perfect start to life as Dartford manager for Steve King - a win at Oxford City got the ball rolling for his Darts.

It's three league games without winning or scoring for Concord Rangers who succumbed to Luke Hopper's late penalty against Chippenham Town.

Almost 3,000 fans packed into Dulwich Hamlet on Non-League Day to see Gavin Rose's side draw with Weymouth.

Elsewhere, Luke Ruddick's goal was enough for Hampton & Richmond to win at Welling while Eastbourne Borough secured three points against St Albans despite the Saints leading early on through Joe Iaciofano.
