The 2021-22 National League North Season By Numbers

By Sam Elliott

The National League North campaign had pretty much everything - and now we're taking a trip back and study the season by numbers.

18 - the number of home matches won by Gateshead. They only failed to win three times at the International Stadium

23 - the number of goals conceded by stingy Brackley Town home and away

3,448 - York City’s average home attendance, the highest in the division

22 - the number of points earned by Alfreton Town from April 2

1,220 - the number of National League North goals scored last season before the play-offs

7 - the points gap between champions Gateshead and second place Brackley

16 - the number of games drawn by Gloucester City and AFC Telford United

216 - the number of days between Brackley’s home defeats to Darlington on September 14 and Boston on April 18

52 - the combined goals scored by Gateshead’s Macaulay Langstaff and Cedwyn Scott

21 - the points difference between Brackley and York - but the Minstermen won promotion, pictured.
