Shots Boss Searle Doubles Down As He Grabs A Pair Of Aces

Danny Searle has another two names through the door at Aldershot Town on Friday afternoon.

Midfielder Alfy Whittingham joins Harry Panayiotou in penning a deal at the National League club for the coming season.

Whittingham is the son of ex-Sheffield Wednesday striker Guy and signs for the Shots after recent spells with Hungerford Town and Havant & Waterlooville.

After impressing at the Crusaders last season, Whittingham bagged the club's Young Player of the Year award.

St Kitts & Nevis international Panayiotou joins Whittingham at the EBB for the coming National League season.

After starting his career at Leicester City, the striker went on to appear for Barrow, Salford City and Nuneaton Borough.

He now signs after a spell in Greek football with Aittitos Spata.

Aldershot Town get their 2019/20 National League season underway against AFC Fylde on August 3.
