Gunson Joins Gosport

Vanarama National League South club Gosport Borough have signed 19-year-old midfielder Charlie Gunson.

Gunson played for England Schools under-18s during the 2014 Centenary Shield programme and again in February 2015.

Charlie is a student at Sparsholt on the Southampton FC `Second Chance` programme which is run in partnership with the college, studying a BTEC Extended Diploma in Performance and Excellence.

He was on the Saints` books originally and then at Reading`s Elite Development Squad before spending 2012/13 with Aldershot Town.

Since being at Sparsholt he has turned out for Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) outfit Andover Town.
