Ferriby Bring In Stags International Midfielder On Loan

North Ferriby United have signed midfielder AJ George on loan from SkyBet League Two side Mansfield Town.

An energetic midfielder, the 21-year-old signed for the Stags from Oxford United in 2016, and has also featured for Evo-Stik league South Premier side Banbury United on loan during the 2014/15 season.

He made two first-team appearances for Oxford before moving north.

Born in Marston, England, he is eligible to play for the Antigua & Barbuda national side and made his senior debut for the Caribbean nation in March 2016 in a Caribbean Cup qualifier against Aruba, where he scored his first senior international goal in a 2-1 win.

A regular for Mansfield`s under-21 side, he has also been on loan with Evo-Stik League Premier sides Mickleover Sports and Hednesford Town.
