FA Cup Draw Made As Our Clubs Continue Their Journey

By Sam Elliott

The draw for the FA Cup first round has been made as the remaining National League sides discover their fate.

Following Saturday's final qualifying round ties, the EFL sides now join - and there's some tasty clashes in prospect.

National League leaders Chesterfield welcome League One table toppers Portsmouth while Bolton host high-flying Solihull Moors.

Oldham Athletic go to Newport County while Yeovil and Gateshead meet. Hereford face Gillingham at Edgar Street.

Bromley host 1953 winners Blackpool at Hayes Lane in a big game and Kidderminster are back on the FA Cup hunt and it's Fleetwood next.

We will have some names in the second round for sure - Eastleigh host Boreham Wood, Curzon Ashton take on either Aveley or Barnet while Alfreton Town and Worthing collide.

Winners of the first round ties this year earn £41,000.

The matches will be played over the weekend of Saturday November 4. The live matches will be announced by the Football Association next week.
