Experienced Forward Returns to Eastbourne

Eastbourne Borough manager Jamie Howell has been re-united with forward Gary Charman after he left new league rivals Bognor Regis Town after being told he wouldn't feature in the team.

He returns to Sports, initially on loan, just weeks after taking on a coaching role at Nyewood Lane.

The 32-year-old played for Eastbourne in the 2011/12 season after joining from Horsham.

He returned to the Hornets and then had his first spell with Bognor in January 2015.

A short spell with Lewes and a second stint with the Rocks preceded a couple of years as player/assistant-manager back at Horsham.

Charman`s experience, coupled with his versatility will be an asset to the club over the coming weeks.

Charman goes straight into the squad for tomorrow`s fixture at Hampton & Richmond Borough.
