Watson: Trophy Draw Was Roller Coaster Of A Game

A 3-3 draw against Boreham Wood, saw Gateshead boss Steve Watson reflecting on the replay that takes place tomorrow.

A last minute equaliser for the visitors denied the Heed their automatic progress to the next round, writes Tom Feaheny.

"It was a rollercoaster of a game, we cancelled each other out during the first-half then they have dug two goals out," Watson told the club's website.

"They are a good team who are well-placed in the division, our 1 v 1 defending wasn't as bad as it could have been, players turned us at times.

"We went for it and I will back them all day long if we play like that with the bravery."

The winner of the replay will visit fellow National League side Maidstone United in the next round.
