Kick In The Teeth For City As They Lose Away From Home

Truro City boss Lee Hodges says his side had no complaints after being defeated by Chippenham Town.

They were defeated as they looked to further secure a play-off place, writes Tom Feaheny.

“Any defeat is disappointing, especially at this stage of the season," Hodges told the club's website.

“We did okay in the first half; we were on the front-foot but couldn’t find that cutting edge.

“It was a kick in the teeth to concede that goal right on the stroke of half-time. It came as a result of our own sloppy play and goals do change games."

Hodges says this defeat puts more importance into their next match.

“Every game is bigger than the last and on Tuesday we face a Hungerford Town team that need the points to cement their place at this level for next season."
