Howell's side have scored 26 goals which is a long way off the lowest in the league but had they more in the final third on Saturday, they might have got a result.

"I think now, after a certain amount of games, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand where we're struggling," he told the club's website.

"We play some nice football and we get into some good areas but I think we only had one shot in the first-half and to be honest I thought we were playing better than them but they're 2-0 up.

"It's been a common theme and that's down to be to sort out which I need to do quickly."
