What Happened In The National League South On Saturday?

By Tom Scott

It was goals galore in the MANarama National League South this afternoon with an incredible 35 goals.

One huge contributor to that tally was Tonbridge Angels and Oxford City who entertained with an eight-goal thriller.

Joe Turner hit a brace which included a late leveller for the home side after Stefan Brown hit a late double for City.

Bath got their third straight win with a fine performance at Champion Hill - Noah Chilvers, Sam Pearson and Tom Smith scoring to see off Dulwich Hamlet.

A brace from Dejon Noel-Williams had Wealdstone sailing at the break against Dorking - but the hosts hit back through Jack Barham and James McShane to share the spoils.

Dartford made it three wins in five as they saw off Eastbourne Borough - no such luck for Braintree, though, the Iron stunned by strugglers Hungerford thanks largely to Cameron McGlip's brace.

Hampton & Richmond are on the march and handed Maidstone their first defeat in nine games - Tyrone Lewthwaite with the winner five minutes from time.

Sammy Moore didn't enjoy his return to Concord Rangers as his Hemel Hempstead side slumped to defeat - Aron Pollock and Decarey Sheriff had the Beachboys two up inside ten minutes.

Havant & Waterlooville had Jonah Ayunga to thank for their impressive win at St Albans - the Hawks' forward now has 11 for the season.

Elsewhere, a Ben Harris double helped Slough past Chelmsford while Chippenham and Welling played out a goalless draw.
