Shots Expect New Manager To Be In Place By Next Week

Aldershot Town have told fans to expect their new manager to be in place by next week.

The club are seeking a replacement for Gary Waddock, who left the club following relegation into the National League South.

Chairman Shahid Azeem expects the club to remain full-time next season – but is open to having some part-time players.

That will all depend on who gets the job as the club look to kick-start their rebuild.

The club have updated fans and says an end to the wait isn’t far away.

A statement read: “With the deadline now passed for applicants, Aldershot Town FC will now begin the process of interviewing potential candidates for the vacant position of first team manager at the club.

“We aim to have a decision made and a new manager appointed inside ten days from now.”
