Pirates striker jumps ship on loan

Vanarama National League Tranmere Rovers have signed Nathan Blissett on a month long loan deal from Bristol Rovers.

The hot-shot, 25, kicked off his career at Kidderminster Harriers, scoring a total of 10 goals in 61 appearances.

Blissett, pictured, joined the Pirates in November 2014 and made 23 league appearances, scoring six goals to help the club win promotion back to the Football League.

The striker's switch was confirmed on Friday by Rovers boss Gary Brabin who said: "He's a good player and will add a different dimension to the squad."
