National League Statement: Braintree Points Deduction

The National League Board has deducted three points from Braintree Town for fielding an ineligible player in a National League match earlier this season.

The club admitted the charge and was found guilty of a breach of Rule 6.9 for a player participating in the fixture against AFC Fylde after the expiration of a Short Term Loan registration.

It was determined that the points gained from the match were to be deducted from the club’s record.

The National League table has been amended accordingly.
