Hessenthaler Gets Busy As Dover Do Their Business Early

Andy Hessenthaler’s summer recruitment drive has gone turbo after announcing four important deals have been done.

The Dover Athletic manager is getting his business done early.

They have confirmed three new arrivals, with Kurtis Cumberbatch penning a two-year contract after scoring 11 goals from midfield last season for Southern League Farnborough.

Eastleigh’s Oscar Gobern, 28, also arrives on the Kent coast with the central midfielder a key part of the Spitfires side who earned a play-off semi-final place last season.

Maidstone United’s Will De Havilland has also agreed to play for the club.

There’s more good news after Hessenthaler announced midfielder Joe Bedford, pictured, has extended his stay by a further two years.
