Concord 'Through And Through' Scopes Get Top Job

Concord Rangers have today announced Sammy Moore’s replacement.

The National League South side have concluded their search for a new manager after the former Leatherhead boss left at the start of the week.

They have now confirmed coach Danny Scopes, a former player, will take on the role next season.

He now begins to build his squad and will take the club’s return to pre-season training in two months time.

Chairman Ant Smith says keeping with someone they know was the only way forward.

He said: “Danny is Concord through and through and I am delighted he has accepted the position of manager.

“Having joined the former management team, I am sure he will carry on bringing some fantastic acquisitions to the club as head of recruitment.”
