Elliott Gets His Best Win Yet As Boston Boss

Craig Elliott says his side defeating Blyth Spartans was the win he is most pleased with since he took charge.

Boston United continued their fine run of form with a 2-1 victory at home, that sees them five points off the play-off places, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I'm really pleased, to defeat a team that is quality, we knew there was an expectation for us as well, so we answered a lot of people," Elliott told the club's website.

"We got a penalty and then it is that calmness to get the goal, we were asked a lot of questions, we upped our game even when we drew.

"We have a good squad, and to move onto another game unbeaten and getting the win shows the progress we are making."
