Chorley and King's Lynn Town are up first in the Eliminator stage with a place in Saturday's semi-final with Scunthorpe United up for grabs.
It's been a long old season in the National League North and we have just five games left.
Let's take a look at what is coming up tonight as the Magpies meet the Linnets.
Story of the seasons
Neither of these sides have spent all that much time outside of the top seven in truth this season with both at one point flirting with the idea of a title charge.
It's been a decent last couple of months for King's Lynn who - aside from two defeats - have looked like they mean business. Chorley are good at home and score goals too - only Kidderminster Harriers have more than them this season which is no small part down to the surprise goalscoring prowess of defender Mark Ellis who has 12 to his name.
The leading goalscorers:
Chorley:
Mark Ellis: 12
Mike Calveley: 11
Tom Carr: 10
Kole Hall: 10
King's Lynn Town:
Johnny Margetts: 10
Gold Omotayo: 10
Ross Crane: 6
What the managers’ say…
Andy Preece, Chorley:“You'd probably think there's a bit of pressure on us. Now you've got in the playoffs, you don't wanna just go in there, you wanna try and win them.”
“If any teams capable of doing it we are. We're more than capable of doing that, but it's going to be tough and we look forward to the challenge."
Adam Lakeland, King's Lynn Town:“Its gonna be incredibly tough, but we have a chance - in isolated games we can beat anybody, we've shown that before.”
“Chorley are obviously massive favourites, they're always in the play-offs and they know what it takes. They've got lots of experience and lots of time together as a group.
“Home advantage is massive in the play-offs, especially when you have good home form which Chorley have.”
“It's never an easy place to go and we know the odds are stacked against us so we've just got to prepare the best we can and go up there and look to put in a big performance.”
"I do think we're underdogs yeah massively but I like being the underdog."
